SEREN6 Survey: From Research to Practice

Improving Innovation Uptake in Civil Security Research

As part of the SEREN6 project, we are exploring how the uptake of research and innovation results in civil security can be improved.

This survey seeks experiences, successful approaches, barriers and support needs relating to exploitation and uptake of Horizon Europe Cluster 3 results. Your feedback will inform good practices and recommendations.

Definitions:

Exploitation: The use of research results to generate scientific, commercial, societal or policy value, including further development and commercialisation.

Innovation uptake: The process through which research-based innovations are adopted, deployed and sustainably used by practitioners, public authorities, industry or other intended users.

Please answer with reference to one project in which you are or have been involved.

Estimated completion time: 5–10 minutes.

Your responses will be used to develop a guide on innovation uptake. We do not request contact details. Please see the privacy notice below for further information.

This survey is conducted within the Horizon Europe project SEREN6 to collect experiences and views on the exploitation and uptake of results from civil security research projects.

Participation is voluntary. The survey does not ask for your name, email address or other direct contact details. Responses will be analysed in aggregated form and used for SEREN6 activities related to innovation uptake, including project reports, workshops and recommendations.
